From the Chalet du Bois Melay, you can easily access the La Plagne Paradiski ski area on foot via a flat wooded path. The blue "Loup" slope is just 400 meters away. For your return, you can take a gentle off-piste trail that leads to within 200 meters of the chalet.
Alternatively, free shuttles provided by La Plagne run frequently during both the ski season and summer months. A shuttle stop is conveniently located just 50 meters from the chalet, offering quick and easy access to the main ski areas, including the snow front at Plagne 1800, Plagne Centre, and Plagne Bellecôte.

From Lyon, follow directions to Chambéry, Albertville, and Aime. After exiting at Aime, take the route towards La Plagne.
After passing through the village of Macôt-La-Plagne, it takes about 20 minutes to ascend the 21 numbered hairpin turns leading to the resort.
The Chalet du Bois Melay is located at Plagne 1800, just after Turn 1, directly across from the Decathlon ski rental shop.
By taxi:
Ask the taxi to drop you off on Rue de Constantine, just above the chalet. To reach this point, pass the Decathlon shop at Plagne 1800, continue along the departmental road to the roundabout, and take the first right towards Plagne Centre. Then immediately turn onto Rue de Constantine.
The Chalet du Bois Melay is the second chalet on the right, where parking is available in front of the stairs.
By plane:
The closest international airports are Geneva or Lyon-Saint Exupéry. The transfer from these airports takes approximately 2h30.
A private parking area is available in front of the chalet, accessible from the departmental road. You can continue along the road to the roundabout to facilitate maneuvering into the parking space.
An electric charging station is available for your use during your stay.
If additional parking is needed, a public parking lot is located directly across from the chalet, next to the Decathlon ski rental shop, with another parking area at the entrance to Rue de Constantine.

The Paradiski ski area is easily accessible from the chalet. From Rue de Constantine, a 400-meter walk leads directly to the blue "Loup-Garou" slope, which descends from Plagne Centre. From there, you can ski down to the Mélèzes or Plagne 1800 chairlifts.
Once on the slopes, you can quickly connect to all the La Plagne village resorts, including Plagne Montalbert, Plagne Centre, Plagne Bellecôte, Belle Plagne, Plagne Village, and Plagne Soleil. If you have a Paradiski pass, you’ll also gain access to the vast domains of Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs.
The ski schools and lift pass office are conveniently located at the base of the Mélèzes chairlift. The French Ski School (ESF) in Plagne 1800 offers group and private lessons, as well as the "Piou-Piou" Club for young children.
For après-ski, children will love the sledging track located at the snow front.
A daycare center, "Les P’tits Bonnets," is available at Plagne Centre and can be reached quickly via the free shuttle.
