Each of our 7 en-suite bedrooms has been carefully designed to create a private and cozy retreat, where you can relax and recharge. The large bay windows offer picturesque views of the mountains and the surrounding natural beauty, creating a serene and soothing atmosphere.
Private balconies in every room allow you to enjoy the fresh Alpine air and take in the charm of the wooded village of La Plagne 1800.

At Chalet du Bois Melay, comfort is our priority. The spacious beds, either 160 or 180 cm wide, are fitted with high-quality linens, ensuring a peaceful and restorative night’s sleep. Additionally, we offer total flexibility in bed configurations.

The 7 bedrooms of the chalet include:
2 master bedrooms with 180×200 cm king-size beds (convertible into twins), TV, one with a desk, and both en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs, double sink, toilet and balconies with mountain views.
2 bedrooms with 180×200 cm beds (convertible), TV, en-suite bathrooms with showers, toilet, and balconies overlooking the forest and mountains.
1 bedroom with a 140×190 cm bed (not convertible), TV, en-suite shower room, toilet, and terrace with mountain views.
1 double bedroom with a 160×200 cm bed (convertible), TV, desk, en-suite shower room, and terrace with views of the mountains and slopes.
1 triple bedroom with a 160×200 cm bed (convertible) and a single 80×190 cm bed, TV, en-suite shower room, and balcony with mountain views.
Each bedroom in this luxury chalet is equipped with a spacious private bathroom. Five of the rooms feature showers, while the two master bedrooms include bathtubs. All have access to a balcony or terrace, ensuring a constant connection with the natural beauty of the Alps.
We’ve paid attention to every detail: premium Nuxe shower and hair care products are provided in each bathroom.
All rooms are equipped with televisions that can be disconnected remotely if you wish to limit children’s access.

Can the beds be arranged as twin or double beds?
6 bedrooms offer flexible bedding arrangements. Depending on your group’s needs, the beds can be prepared as either twin beds or a double bed. Simply let us know your preferred configuration before your arrival.
Do the bedrooms have mountain views?
Yes. Each bedroom enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding forest and mountains, providing a relaxing Alpine setting throughout the year.

Yes. Every bedroom features a television with access to streaming services, including Netflix. If you would like to limit screen time for children, the TVs can be remotely disabled upon request.
Do the bedrooms have a balcony?
Yes. Every bedroom has its own private balcony overlooking the surrounding mountains and forest. Bedrooms 1 and 3 also benefit from a private terrace, providing even more outdoor space to enjoy the Alpine setting.

Can I book just one bedroom?
No. Chalet du Bois Melay is available exclusively as a whole-property rental. This gives you private access to all facilities, including the bedrooms, living areas, fully equipped kitchen, indoor swimming pool, sauna and all shared spaces.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not permitted in order to ensure the comfort of all guests.
Are the bedrooms suitable for both families and groups of friends?
Yes. Thanks to their generous size, private bathrooms and thoughtful layout across different floors, the bedrooms are perfectly suited to families, groups of friends and corporate groups looking for both comfort and privacy.
Which bedroom is best suited for a couple travelling with a young child?
The 2 Master Bedrooms, bedrooms 2 and 5, can comfortably accommodate a baby cot or an additional bed for a young child. They also feature a bath, more comfortable with a young child. Simply let us know your family’s requirements before your stay, and we will recommend the most suitable room configuration.
Is there a ground-floor bedroom?
Yes. Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor, on the same level as the chalet entrance and the main living area. It is particularly well suited to guests who prefer to avoid climbing stairs.
Do the bedrooms offer enough privacy for everyone?
Yes. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom, and the sleeping areas are spread across several floors of the chalet. This layout is especially appreciated by large families and groups of friends, allowing everyone to enjoy their own private space while sharing the spacious living areas together.

Chalet du Bois Melay is a little haven of peace. Nestled among the fir trees, each room offers a breathtaking view that is simply dreamy! The design and cleanliness of the chalet are top-notch. The amenities are comprehensive: each room is equipped with an ensuite toilet/shower, and there is also a pool, sauna, and an incredibly cozy dining room. The icing on the cake is the warm welcome from the hosts. I can only recommend a stay at the chalet. And for skiing, a little warm-up is offered, and it's definitely worth it!

Ideal chalet for a group of friends (14 people) who love skiing and sharing memorable moments together. The kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, and after skiing you can relax in the pool or the cinema room! The chalet manager, Elise, is always attentive and available when needed, yet very discreet when not.
