The pool

Six metres by three, heated to 30 °C all year round, with large windows looking out over the forest and the mountains. Swim before the first lift, after the last run, or late in the evening once the children are asleep. Loungers line the pool, so the adults can rest while keeping an eye on the children in the water.

Safe for young children

When the pool is not in use, it is closed with a rolling cover and a lock that young children cannot reach. Families can relax without wondering where the little ones are.

The infrared sauna

The infrared sauna offers a gentler heat than a traditional Finnish sauna, with an adjustable temperature, a Bluetooth speaker and ambient lighting.

The gym

A wooden WaterRower, a Technogym treadmill and strength-training equipment, all with views of the mountains, for anyone who wants to keep their routine going between ski days.

Nuxe in every bathroom

Each of the seven en-suite bathrooms is stocked with toiletries from the French brand Nuxe.

Massages and yoga at the chalet

Massages, private yoga sessions and shiatsu can be arranged in the chalet on request, with experienced practitioners, through our partner concierge, Pointe de Sel.

Yes. The pool, sauna and gym are reserved exclusively for your group throughout your stay and are never shared with other guests.

Are the pool, sauna and gym included in the price?

Yes. All three are included in the chalet rental, at no extra charge.

Is the pool heated all year round?

Yes. The indoor pool is kept at 30°C (86°F) all year, for winter and summer stays alike.

Is the pool safe for young children?

When not in use, the pool is closed with a rolling cover and a lock out of reach of young children. Children should always be supervised by an adult when swimming.

What equipment is there in the gym?

A wooden WaterRower rowing machine, a Technogym treadmill and strength-training equipment.

Can we book a massage or a yoga session?

Yes, on request. In-chalet massages, private yoga and shiatsu can be arranged with experienced practitioners.

Chalet du Bois Melay is a little haven of peace. Nestled among the fir trees, each room offers a breathtaking view that is simply dreamy! The design and cleanliness of the chalet are top-notch. The amenities are comprehensive: each room is equipped with an ensuite toilet/shower, and there is also a pool, sauna, and an incredibly cozy dining room. The icing on the cake is the warm welcome from the hosts. I can only recommend a stay at the chalet. And for skiing, a little warm-up is offered, and it's definitely worth it!

I have stayed several times in this beautiful chalet. Great location, just 5 minutes on foot from the slopes. Elise is attentive to all your questions. The chalet is very luxurious, and my children loved the pool and the cinema room 😉. I highly recommend it!

We spent a week in the chalet as a family of 15! What could have been a challenge was made easy thanks to the quality of the chalet, the private spaces for everyone, the variety of activities available, and above all Elise’s availability for all our requests and wishes. Everyone truly enjoyed their week and made the most of it.

Ideal chalet for a group of friends (14 people) who love skiing and sharing memorable moments together. The kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, and after skiing you can relax in the pool or the cinema room! The chalet manager, Elise, is always attentive and available when needed, yet very discreet when not. Truly outstanding!
