- A piano lounge with a library featuring a selection of books for the whole family (mostly in French, some are in English).
- A double bedroom with a 140×190 bed, TV, desk, en-suite with shower, sink, toilet, and desk.

Is the chalet well suited to a group of 15 guests?
Yes. Chalet du Bois Melay was designed from the outset to accommodate up to 15 guests in complete comfort. Its spacious living areas, large dining room, fully equipped kitchen, wellness facilities and seven en-suite bedrooms ensure that everyone can enjoy time together while still having plenty of personal space.
Are the bedrooms spread across different floors?
Yes. The chalet’s seven bedrooms are distributed over the three upper floors. This thoughtful layout keeps the sleeping areas peaceful while naturally separating them from the living, wellness and entertainment spaces.
Is there a bedroom that can be accessed without climbing stairs?
Yes. One en-suite bedroom is located on the chalet’s main floor, on the same level as the entrance, living room, dining area and kitchen. It is particularly well suited to guests who prefer to minimise the use of stairs.
Where are the swimming pool, sauna and cinema room located?
The entire wellness and leisure area is located on the lower ground floor. Here you’ll find the heated indoor swimming pool, infrared sauna, fitness room, cinema room and games room with a Bonzini table football.
Can everyone dine together comfortably?
Yes. The open-plan kitchen flows directly into the dining area, where a large table comfortably seats all guests. It’s the perfect setting for family meals, celebrations with friends or business dinners during a corporate retreat.
Does the chalet offer quiet spaces for everyone?
Yes. Thanks to its layout over several levels, everyone can enjoy the chalet at their own pace. While some guests relax by the fireplace, others can unwind in the pool, watch a film in the cinema room, work in peace or simply enjoy the privacy of their bedroom.

What a wonderful discovery in La Plagne! We were there for the second time with our extended family and friends and had an incredible mountain getaway! Elise is a wonderful host, she was easy to reach with any questions and gave us helpful tips about the area. We can't wait for our next visit!

Chalet du Bois Melay is a little haven of peace. Nestled among the fir trees, each room offers a breathtaking view that is simply dreamy! The design and cleanliness of the chalet are top-notch. The amenities are comprehensive: each room is equipped with an ensuite toilet/shower, and there is also a pool, sauna, and an incredibly cozy dining room. The icing on the cake is the warm welcome from the hosts. I can only recommend a stay at the chalet. And for skiing, a little warm-up is offered, and it's definitely worth it!
I have stayed several times in this beautiful chalet. Great location, just 5 minutes on foot from the slopes. Elise is attentive to all your questions. The chalet is very luxurious, and my children loved the pool and the cinema room 😉. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful week with friends at the chalet. The chalet is comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The children really enjoyed playing in the pool after a day of skiing. The shuttle to the resort is convenient and runs regularly. We will gladly return.

The chalet is ideally located for scenic hikes and enjoying the region. The living area is perfect for wonderful evenings, the bedrooms are well arranged, and the pool was much appreciated after our long walks! I highly recommend it!

Ideal chalet for a group of friends (14 people) who love skiing and sharing memorable moments together. The kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, and after skiing you can relax in the pool or the cinema room! The chalet manager, Elise, is always attentive and available when needed, yet very discreet when not.
