Your stay is designed to be worry-free — the price includes:
- The entire property, just for you — an exclusive rental of the chalet
- A home ready to welcome you — the beds will already be made on your arrival, a welcome basket and firewood await you, and for the holidays, a decorated Christmas tree is set up for you
- Every comfort within reach — towels and bathrobes provided, Nuxe products in the bathrooms
- A spotless home on departure — end-of-stay cleaning included, additional cleaning available for a supplement
- Tailor-made support — Elise is available to you before and during your stay, to help organise your stay (catering, activities, childcare, transfers…) and make sure everything runs smoothly.

What is the amount of the booking deposit?
A deposit of 35% of the stay price is required to confirm your booking. The balance is due 45 days before your arrival.
Do the rates include catering?
No, the rates shown correspond to renting the chalet only. You can add a catering package — private chef or meal delivery, half-board or full-board — to complete your stay. [Discover our catering services]
What is the best time to book?
Christmas, New Year and February weeks get booked up first — we recommend booking several months in advance for these periods. January, March and April weeks often offer more availability with more accessible rates.
Is the tourist tax included in the rate?
No, the tourist tax (€3.60/adult/night) is payable in addition, as stated in our conditions.
Booking conditions
The booking will be considered firm and final upon receipt of a deposit of 35% of the stay price.
The balance of the stay must be paid 45 days before the arrival date.
For any booking made within 45 days of the arrival date, full payment for the stay will be required.
Payment of the deposit and balance of the stay is made by bank transfer.
The rates above do not include the tourist tax, which amounts to €3.60/adult/night.
A security deposit of €5,000 is required before your stay in case of damages (collected by bank transfer). It will be refunded after inspection of the chalet within 15 days.
Cancellation conditions
In the event of cancellation by the client, the following fees will be retained:
If the cancellation occurs more than 45 days before the arrival date, the deposit is retained as compensation.
If the cancellation occurs within 45 days (6 weeks) of your arrival, the full payment for your stay will be retained as compensation.

Chalet du Bois Melay is a little haven of peace. Nestled among the fir trees, each room offers a breathtaking view that is simply dreamy! The design and cleanliness of the chalet are top-notch. The amenities are comprehensive: each room is equipped with an ensuite toilet/shower, and there is also a pool, sauna, and an incredibly cozy dining room. The icing on the cake is the warm welcome from the hosts. I can only recommend a stay at the chalet. And for skiing, a little warm-up is offered, and it's definitely worth it!
I have stayed several times in this beautiful chalet. Great location, just 5 minutes on foot from the slopes. Elise is attentive to all your questions. The chalet is very luxurious, and my children loved the pool and the cinema room 😉. I highly recommend it!
The pool and sauna are perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing, and the large sofas make it easy to enjoy great moments with friends by the fire — truly delightful.

Ideal chalet for a group of friends (14 people) who love skiing and sharing memorable moments together. The kitchen is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, and after skiing you can relax in the pool or the cinema room! The chalet manager, Elise, is always attentive and available when needed, yet very discreet when not.
