I am Elise, the founder of Chalet du Bois Melay and your host. I am an entrepreneur, a travel enthusiast, and a mother.
In 2020, I founded the travel agency Pointe de sel with the ambition of providing you with an unforgettable experience, whether it's with your family, friends, or for a corporate retreat, through tailor-made and all-inclusive stays in Savoie.
In parallel with Pointe de sel, in 2021, I embarked on an extensive renovation project of Chalet du Bois Melay, aiming to blend modernity, elegance, and comfort.
Being passionate about the mountains, nature, and skiing, the chalet is a place of rejuvenation and inspiration for me.
My goal is to make it a vibrant place where you feel at ease, can breathe freely, share moments, and open yourself up to beautiful experiences, much like the contemporary art pieces that adorn the chalet or the music of the piano in the living room, which I love to play whenever I have a moment.
These projects would never have come to life without the support of my family, especially my husband Hugo, my lovely daughter Apolline, my four stepchildren, and my faithful Labrador Rio, who accompanies me everywhere during my wanderings in Savoie.
